CA Clarissa Appana will serve as an independent non-executive director of Sygnia.
Sygnia has announced the appointment of Clarissa Appana as an independent non-executive director to its board.
Clarissa, a qualified CA(SA), has worked in South Africa, the USA and in Europe, managing teams across different geographies and disciplines. According to a statement by the company, she is an experienced financial director with a demonstrated history of working in listed and non-listed groups. She has spent the last ten years with the Tenova Group in various senior roles, including head of internal audit and compliance. She started her career as an article clerk at PwC.
Clarissa holds a B.Com accounting degree and an honours degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
