Although we are only just done with the first month of the year, almost 600 people have already signed up to attend Finance Indaba Africa 2017, which is to be held on the 12 and 13 October at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

The number of registrations is growing by the day, with more than half of those planning to attend in 2017 coming from professional bodies, including members of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the South African Institute of Professional Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (SAIPA).
Finance Indaba Africa 2016 saw more than 4 500 finance professionals, 120 expert speakers including Auditor-General Kimi Makwetu, Vusi Thembekwayo, SAICA CEO Terence Nombembe and Brett Tromp, CFO of Discovery Health share their knowledge and lessons learned in the industry. More than 75 industry leaders exhibited their products and services.

Finance Indaba 2017 promises to be bigger and better than last year's event, with an even better quality of attendees. Look out for some exciting speakers and big partnerships to be announced over the coming months.
