Kevin Johnson (pictured), who was nominated for a CFO Award in 2014, is the new Vice President of Colfax Corporation. Kevin took on the role earlier this year, leaving Marinella Vigouroux in charge of finance at Howden Africa.

Kevin speaks very highly of his successor, Marinella:

"As a previous Howden CEO once told me, the first thing you do in a new role is recruit your successor. My successor is Marinella Vigouroux was recruited five years ago, not long after I joined Howden Africa. Marinella during the last five years has spent time in pivotal senior finance roles within the organisation and will do an excellent job as the local SA CFO."

Looking back on his time in South Africa with Howden Africa, Kevin says he feels "privileged to have been able to spend five years in one of the most beautiful countries in the world". Regarding his biggest accomplishment as CFO of Howden Africa, Kevin said: "The reorganisation of the finance organisation and control framework supported by the implementation of a new ERP. These changes enabled the business to deliver 'world class' financial support to the business through a period of significant growth."
