Stenprop CFO says a move to the JSE will come soon

Stenprop CFO Patsy Watson has said that the ALTX-listed company, with assets worth some R6 billion, is on track to move to the main board by end 2015. The company focuses on property investment in the UK, Germany and Switzerland.

For the three-month period to June this year, Stenprop posted basic earnings attributable to ordinary shareholders of EURO7,098,805, which equates to earnings per share of 2.60 cents. Headline earnings were EURO8,306,922, which equates to headline earnings per share of 3.04 cents per share.

Watson joined Stenham Property in May 2007 as FD, having spent three years as FD of a division of Regus - a listed property company on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to this, she had 13 years of experience in corporate finance and project structuring as a partner at Neil Thomas Associates, a boutique firm of corporate finance specialists in Johannesburg. Watson graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Accountancy, where she also completed a two-year postgraduate course in taxation. She qualified as a CA in Johannesburg, after completing her articles with PWC.
