With this year's CFO Awards coming closer each day, we are excited to announce that we have secured the services of some top class entertainers to enliven the evening: Jacques Lagesse and Cristina Rodrigues. Together with chairman Vusi Thembekwayo, they will be the main voices on the podium during the gala dinner - in between the announcements of the awards of course!
Jacques Lagesse is a singer - or should we say a crooner - whose voice is rich and velvet-lined. More seasoned music lovers will appreciate the comparison of Lagesse to oldies like Nat King Cole, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. The younger generation can't be faulted for comparing the South African to the world-famous Michael Bublé.
Cristina Rodrigues is a versatile singer and pianist, who routinely enchants audiences with renditions of South African favourites, familiar Parisian hits and a host of nifty Jazzy numbers to contribute to the atmosphere..
The annual CFO Awards will be held at the beautiful Summer Place in Johannesburg on 14 May 2015. This event recognises CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, parastatals and government institutions and awards them for outstanding performance and leadership.
The gala dinner brings together South Africa's top finance professionals. It is an opportunity to celebrate excellence and engage in conversations about the culture, pitfalls and possibilities of continuously exceeding expectations.
The CFO Awards are preceded by the CFO Conference.
