Andulela Investment Holdings: Johannes Engelbrecht

Johannes Engelbrecht has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Andulela Investment Holdings since 1 October 2015.

Johannes Engelbrecht qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 1988 and has over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and senior financial management. During his career he worked for KPMG where he completed his articles and then worked as a Group Manager. For the next 20 years he worked in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at Absa Merchant Bank, Grindrod Bank and Vunani Corporate Finance, after which he expanded his career into financial management as Financial Director of StratCorp Limited and Andulela Investment Holdings Limited. Johannes is a member of the Institute of Directors. He has a B.Com from the University of Johannesburg.

About Andulela Investment Holdings Ltd: Andulela is an investment holding company listed in the Equity Investment Instruments sector of the Main Board of the JSE Ltd.

It has two trading subsidiaries:

Its principal strategic investment of 83.59% interest in Kilken Platinum Proprietary Limited, a profitable, low-cost producer and seller of platinum group metals, mainly platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold; and

In the steel processing industry, Andulela owns 100% of Pro Roof Steel Merchants Proprietary Limited and its subsidiaries (acquired with effect from 1 September 2011), one of the largest and most prominent steel processors and merchants in South Africa.

Andulela reported a revenue of R723.458 million in 2017.
