Cargo Carriers: Junaid Kriel

Junaid Kriel has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Cargo Carriers since 18 January 2016.

Junaid Kriel has held Senior Executive and Managerial positions within the healthcare and recycling industries. He served as Chief Operating Officer and Acting Chief Financial Officer at Redisa NPC. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds B.Com from the University of Cape Town. He has a wealth of experience in financial and management accounting, procurement, audit, risk and compliance management, and contracts management. Prior to his CFO position at Cargo Carriers Ltd he was the COO of Kusaga Taka (Pty) Ltd and held a number of roles within Old Mutual, most notably the IT Finance Executive for Emerging Markets, which included Columbia, Mexico, Africa and South Africa. He was appointed CFO of Cargo Carriers in January 2016.
