Werner Janse van Rensburg has been the Chief Financial Officer of Multichoice South Africa since October 2014.

Werner Janse van Rensburg qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and went on to work for Nampak, where he served in various Financial Positions including Group Accountant. After six years at Nampak, Werner became the Group Finance Manager for Sun International and briefly served as the Finance Executive of Transaction Capital. He then served as both a Finance Executive and Director at Bayport Financial Services before joining Multichoice South Africa as Chief Financial Officer in October 2014.

About Multichoice: In 1986, South African media company Naspers (along with several other South African media businesses) formed a pay television company called M-Net. In October 1993, M-Net was divided into two companies – one dealing with the delivery of entertainment channels, the other, Multichoice, oversaw subscriber management, signal distribution, and cellphone operations.
