FEM: Yusuf Bodiat
Yusuf Bodiat has been the CFO at The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company since 5 February 2019.
Yusuf Bodiat is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and is also a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
Yusuf worked for Deloitte, where he gained experience in insurance, banking, medical aid, pension funds, private equity and parastatal industries, and was the acting chief financial officer of Lion of Africa Insurance.
He was appointed as the chief financial officer at The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (FEM) on 5 February 2019.

About FEM: The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (RF) was established as a mutual insurer in 1936 and on the introduction of the Workmen’s Compensation Act 1941 was granted a licence to continue to transact workmen’s compensation insurance for the building industry.
Its business operations are essentially confined to the insurance of employers against their liabilities under the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act 1993.
