Barry Wren was appointed CFO of Eli Lilly South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa in April 2015. He was born and schooled in Zimbabwe and later moved to South Africa to study at Rhodes University. He has an H.Dip, majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) with PwC, working in both Assurance and Transaction Services. Barry has spent the majority of his career in the healthcare industry working for companies like Covidien and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. He has experience in Finance, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources and General Management.
