Imraan Ebrahim Suleman: Arrowhead Properties

Imraan Suleman has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Arrowhead Properties Ltd since October 2011. He is also Non-Executive Director for the Johannesburg Housing Company.

Imraan Suleman is a Chartered Accountant by qualification. He was appointed the Chief Financial Officer of Arrowhead Properties Ltd in October 2011. He has been an Executive Director of Indluplace Properties Ltd (formerly, Arrowhead Properties Ltd) since 3 December 2014. He joined Java Capital in 2005 having previously worked for one of the big four audit firms in South Africa and the UK. He has advised clients on a wide range of transactions including listings, mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and empowerment transactions.

About Arrowhead Properties Ltd: Arrowhead was formed in September 2011 and debuted in the Real Estate Sector on the JSE in December 2011 as an internally managed PLS company. Arrowhead converted to a REIT on 1 October 2013. Arrowhead owns a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial, industrial and residential properties throughout South Africa.

Its primary objective is to pay increasing income returns to investors by escalating rentals, satisfactory renewal of leases, renting of vacant space, managing and reducing costs where possible, and acquiring revenue enhancing properties.

Arrowhead has increased properties under management from R1,4 billion at listing to R7.3 billion, including the investment in Dipula. The asset value has grown more than 5 times since listing, while the number of properties in the portfolio has more than doubled. 

Arrowhead Properties Ltd reported a revenue of R1.936 billion for 2017.
