Mohammed Hoosen Abdool-Samad | Chief Financial Officer | Illovo Limited

Mohammed Hoosen Abdool-Samad - current CFO of Illovo Sugar Industry- has gained a lot of experience in managing functions while working for several companies, both in South Africa and internationally. In 2006, Abdool-Samad was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Anglo Coal South Africa. He later, after a restructure, became Chief Financial Officer of Anglo American Thermal Coal.

In 2011, Abdool-Samad started working as the Chief Financial Officer of Illovo. He has since been instrumental in changing Illovo from a traditional pure sugar business into a business that is no longer reliant on Europe. Working with the right people has been the key to this succes. For his work as the CFO of Illovo, Abdool-Samad has been nominated for the CFO Awards 2015

Illovo Sugar Limited is a sugar producer and a manufacturer of downstream products. The Company produce raw and refined sugar for local, regional, European Union (EU), the United States and world markets from sugar cane supplied by its own agricultural operations and from independent outgrowers who supply cane to the Company's factories.
