Pan African Resources: Deon Louw
Deon Louw has been Financial Director of Pan African Resources since March 2005. He is also an Executive Director.
Deon has extensive finance and business experience, which includes investment banking, and advisory and business administration in the finance and mining sectors. He has held the posts of Financial Director of Sentula Mining Limited, CFO of Shanduka Coal, Director of Resource Finance Advisers and Head of Resource Structured Finance at Investec Bank. Deon was appointed as Financial Director of Pan African Resources on 1 March 2015. He holds multiple degrees and is a CA.
He describes himself as having good commercial acumen, strategic insight and entrepreneurial flair, which, in conjunction with his ability to identify and analyse commercial opportunities has added substantial value to the organisations that he has been involved with in the past.
