PetroSA: Webster Fanadzo

Webster Fanadzo has been acting Group Chief Financial Officer of PetroSA since June 2015.

Webster Fanadzo has over 25 years' experience in financial management spanning various sectors that include the mining, manufacturing, logistics and oil and gas industries. He is qualified as a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant. He joined PetroSA in 2000 as a Group Financial Manager. At PetroSA, he has assumed various senior management roles including, recently, leading the "Billion Plus" cost optimisation project. Webster holds a B.Acc. Honours degree and an MBA and is also a Fellow Chartered Secretary. He was appointed Acting Group Chief Financial Officer in June 2015.

About PetroSA: The Petroleum, Oil and Gas Corporation of South Africa is the national oil company (NOC) of South Africa. Its main activities are the extraction of natural gas from offshore fields about 89 km from Mossel Bay, the production of synthetic fuels from this gas through a gas to liquids (GTL) process, and the extraction of oil from oil fields off the South Coast of South Africa. The GTL Refinery is located in Mossel bay. Its capacity is about 45 000 bpd and processes both the gas and condensate to produce liquid fuels and chemicals. PetroSA sells petrochemical products to South Africa´s major oil companies and export petrochemical products to the international markets.

According to the 2017 financial report, PetroSA’s gross revenue decreased 34% from R15.7 billion to R10.3 billion. There were 1 594 employees.
