FirstRand Africa: Gideon Joubert

Gideon Joubert has been the chief financial officer at FirstRand Africa since November 2017.

Gideon Joubert received an Honours degree in accounting from Stellenbosch University before become an article clerk at PwC, where he stayed on for five years in senior associate and manager roles. In 2011 he became the executive assistant to Rand Merchant Bank’s CFO and in 2014 became the Investment Banking Division CFO. In 2017 he was appointed as CFO at FirstRand Africa.
