Heinie Carl Werth has been the Financial Director of Sanlam Limited and Sanlam Life Insurance Limited since October 2016. He has been Executive Director of Sanlam Limited and Sanlam Life Insurance Limited since 2002. Heinie served as Chief Executive Officer of Sanlam Emerging Markets (Pty) Limited from December 2005 to October 2016 and as the Chief Executive Officer of Sanlam Developing Markets Limited at Sanlam Limited since December 2005. He served as Financial Director of Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd since April 2002. He joined the Sanlam Group in 1998. In 2001, he participated in an EDP from the Manchester Business School. He holds B. Accountancy Honours, and an MBA degree from Stellenbosch University. He is a Chartered Accountant.
