South Africa's leading women CFOs and CHROs have been signing up to take part in the Women's Dinner, sponsored by PwC, Workday and Transparent.

The guestlist for the CFO and CHRO Women’s Dinner at the Radisson Blu in Sandton on 1 August is growing, with noteworthy attendees including multi award winning CFO of the year Christine Ramon, Priscillah Mabelane, CEO of BP Southern Africa, and Tantaswa Fubu, Group Executive: Human Capital, Internal Audit and Corporate Affairs at Barloworld.

The dinner is sponsored by PwC, Workday and Transparent, underscoring these companies’ commitment to the upliftment and support of women business leaders in South Africa.

Graham Fehrsen, the managing director of CFO South Africa, says:

“Our generous sponsors, along with CFO and CHRO South Africa, are committed to promoting women in the workplace, and supporting women leaders in the highest positions in business. We believe that events like these give women the opportunity to network, encourage one another and constructively address the challenges that they collectively face in the workplace.”

The attendees have the opportunity to bring along their mentees to the event. This means that not only is the event addressing the needs of current women business leaders, but also promoting the interests of the next generation who will follow in their footsteps.

The event will therefore be celebrating and advancing finance and HR executives and their respective mentees, giving them the opportunity to learn, share and enjoy themselves in one evening away from the stresses of work.

“The CFO and CHRO Women’s Dinner promises to be a night to remember for all the attendees, the sponsors and the CFO and CHRO teams. We’re looking forward to hosting these women leaders and their mentees, and trust that they will go home with lots to think about and put into practice in their professional lives,” concludes Fehrsen.
