Truworths: David Pfaff

David Pfaff has been Chief Financial Officer of Bidcorp since April 2013.

In April 2013 David was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer at Truworths. In October 2014 he also took responsibility for the credit department, risk and analytics, information technology, credit operations and the call centre. He is a member of the store operations forum, as well as the properties forum and described his function as much more than a CFO role, as it is much more commercially and strategically focused. He is a Director of all the African subsidiaries as well as the office in the UK. 

He is a Member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees of the above subsidiary and an Invitee to the Audit and Risk Committee of Truworths International. He is also a member of the Ethics committee, the Risk Committee, the Change Control Committee, and the Tender and Capex committee. Prior to his time at Bidcorp he work at Anglo-American and Fiat. He is an Oxford University graduate.
