Zeda FD Thobeka Ntshiza joins the list of leaders competing for the CFO of the Year title.
Thobeka Ntshiza has been nominated for the 2024 CFO Awards for her work as the FD of Zeda.
She joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the coveted CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars of Finance”, which is now entering its 11th year!
Following the grandiose success of the 10th Annual CFO Awards in 2023, CFO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in finance and their achievements in the last year. On 13 November, the 2024 CFO Awards nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Polo Room in Sandton.
Thobeka was appointed CFO of Avis Southern Africa in November 2020. The company has since rebranded to Zeda, where she remains the CFO. She was the CFO for Avis Fleet before this.
Prior to that, she was the FD at Barloworld Logistics. She has also held various financial roles at Aveng Manufacturing, Coca-Cola South Africa and Sasol Technology.
She completed her articles with Sasol Chemical Industries. She has a higher national diploma in organisational leadership and a certificate in management development from Towerstone and the University of Pretoria respectively. She also has her BCom Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
