Thobeka Ntshiza was appointed CFO of Avis Southern Africa in November 2020. The company has since rebranded to Zeda, where she remains the CFO. Prior to this she was the CFO for Avis Fleet.
Thobeka is a professional accountant and passionate about talent development, coaching and mentoring. She has gained a lot of experience in FMCG and Manufacturing environments and was a Top 35 under 35 CAs in South Africa finalist in 2015.
Before she joined Avis she was the FD at Barloworld Logistics. Thobeka serves as a council member of Children of the Dawn, a foundation which takes cares of orphans in South Africa. Prior to joining Barloworld Logistics, she served in various financial roles at AVEnG Manufacturing, Coca-Cola South Africa and Sasol Technology. She completed her articles with Sasol Chemical Industries. She has a higher national diploma in organisational leadership and a certificate in management development from Towerstone and the University of Pretoria respectively. She also has her B.Com Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
