Dries will step down from the FD role in January 2022 to pursue other interests outside Newpark REIT.
Newpark REIT has announced the resignation of Dries Ferreira as FD, with effect from 10 January 2022, in order to pursue other interests.
Dries has been the FD of Newpark since September 2016.
As a keen sportsman, Dries started his career as a semi-professional cyclist representing South Africa on the international stage before settling into a formal corporate career, where he started as an accountant working for PwC in South Africa and Montreal, Canada.
After that he spent some time working in the polymer-products manufacturing industry and soon moved into larger challenges where he fulfilled the role of CFO and executive board member of JSE-listed companies.
