Patrick Dlamini takes the helm at the Public Investment Corporation from 1 June 2025.
The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) has announced the appointment of Patrick Dlamini as its new chief executive officer, effective 1 June 2025.
Dlamini’s appointment was confirmed by Cabinet on 14 May 2025. With close to three decades of executive leadership experience, he brings a solid track record in steering large and complex institutions.
He previously served as CEO of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) for over 12 years, where he led the organisation through a period of sustained growth and strategic repositioning. Prior to his role at DBSA, he was Executive Vice President at South African Airways for more than four years, and held a senior leadership role at Transnet for seven years.
Patrick holds a Bcom in finance and accounting from the University of Durban-Westville.
