Peter Riskowitz new Long4Life CFO

Peter Riskowitz (pictured) has been appointed as CFO and executive director of Brian Joffe’s new investment firm, Long4Life, which listed yesterday on the JSE. Riskowitz’s role, which will take effect from 1 May, will include a strong focus on merger and acquisition activity for the firm.

Riskowitz, who holds BComm, BAcc and CA(SA) qualifications, began his career with Investec, but has since held various CFO positions, predominantly in listed environments. He has notched up more than 28 years of commercial experience encompassing senior financial management, corporate finance and executive management, 19 of which have been within the Allied Electronics Corporation Limited (Altron) Group.

Other independent nonexecutive directors include Tasneem Abdool-Samad, Lionel Jacobs and Colin Datnow, with Jason Joffe as alternate director.
