Polmed CFO Marinus Pretorius secures nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards

Polmed CFO Marinus Pretorius has secured a nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards, recognising his leadership and contribution to the finance function.

Marinus has served as chief financial officer of Polmed since 2021. Alongside his CFO responsibilities, he is an advisory board member of the RQ Capital Partners Razorite Fund II and a non-executive director at Rooikat Media.

Before joining Polmed, he held several senior positions at MTN, including VP office senior manager: commercial and operations, group operations manager and finance specialist. He also gained consulting experience at Deloitte.

Dubbed the “Oscars of Finance”, the CFO Awards continue to celebrate leaders who raise the bar for people leadership in South Africa across listed companies, large corporations and government institutions.

The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners across multiple categories, including the CFO of the Year title, will be announced.
