Raj Nana begins a new chapter as CFO at Teraco

Raj brings 20 years of experience to his new role at the data centre operator.

CFO Raj Nana has been appointed to lead the finance department at data centre operator Teraco, as of 1 February. Outgoing CFO Sam Erwin is heading to a newly created role as MD, reporting to the CEO.

Raj has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and large-scale property development. He was nominated for the 2023 CFO Awards for his work at Attacq.

Raj joined Attacq in 2014, when he was appointed as their investment officer. In 2016 he became part of their executive team before finally being appointed as an executive director in 2018, along with his promotion to CFO.

Prior to joining Attacq, Raj was the vice president of leverage finance transactor at Barclays Africa Group for three years. Before that, he worked in real estate finance at Absa Capital and served as an analyst at Rand Merchant Bank.

He completed his articles at FirstRand Bank in 2008 and qualified as a chartered accountant. He has a BAcc from Wits University.
