Raubex Group FD James Gibson has tendered his resignation

The company has embarked on a process to find a suitable successor for FD James Gibson.

Raubex Group has announced that James Gibson has tendered his resignation as FD of the company with effect from 31 May.

James joined Raubex in July 2006 as the group financial accountant and was later promoted to FD in July 2013. He played a key role during the process of listing Raubex on the JSE in 2007.

James is a chartered accountant and holds a B.Com degree from the University of Cape Town. After completing his articles with Grant Thornton in 2000, James spent time in the United Kingdom and gained experience contracting to Panasonic Corporation and P&O Nedlloyd in London. On his return to South Africa, he held the position of management accountant with SAB.

In a statement, the company thanked James for his contribution over the past 15 years and wished him well in his future endeavours. Raubex said that it has embarked on a process to find a suitable successor for James.
