South African finance professional Petra Botha has been appointed CFO of Bethesda-based Indiggo Associates.
Petra Botha, a born and bred South African, has a deep and broad background in finance both here and in the United States. She has worked in a variety of sectors, including finance, mining and technology.
Most recently, she held the role of Vice President of Finance and Administration at Flight Landata Inc, and before that of CFO for 10 years at Mid Technology Corporation, both in the United States.
In South Africa, she held positions at Anglo American and FirstCorp Merchant Bank. She holds an MBA from Boston University, an MA in International Finance from Brandeis University and a B.Comm from the University of Stellenbosch.
Petra claims to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and focuses on balancing details with big picture priorities. For relaxation, she likes to escape to the great outdoors. She is now a naturalised US citizen.
