Sasha Brown starts a new chapter in Melbourne as finance director for Champion Petfoods Australia.

Newly appointed finance director at Champion Petfoods Australia, Sasha Brown moved within the ranks of Mars South Africa to head up the finance department in the APAC region. “My family and I have relocated to Melbourne, Australia, and are looking forward to settling into this next chapter,” she said in a LinkedIn post.

“After eight incredible years at Mars South Africa, I’m deeply grateful for the outstanding leaders, mentors and colleagues who have shaped my journey and growth. Thank you for the support, trust, and friendships along the way,” she added.

Sasha Brown has been the chief financial officer of Mars South Africa since April 2023. She has been with the Mars group since 2018, when she joined as a market finance manager, and has served as the company’s sales finance manager and as a senior business partner.

Prior to this, she served in various finance management roles at Deloitte and as a financial analyst for Signature Business Solutions. She completed her articles with Louis Marais and Partners in 2012.

Sasha has a CTA honours in accounting and finance from Unisa, as well as a BCom in accounting sciences from the University of Pretoria, and a post-graduate diploma from Unisa.
