Metrofile has announced the appointment of its second CFO in the space of four months.
Metrofile Holdings has appointed Shivan Mansingh as its new permanent CFO and executive director with effect from 1 April.
Shivan said he is very excited about his new role and joining the Metrofile team:
“What attracted me to Metrofile is the industry in which it operates, as well as the opportunities that the business presents, both from a strategic finance and operational perspective. My diverse experience in my previous roles, particularly as the former CFO at Torre Industries, I believe that I am well positioned to add significant value to the financial reporting processes and overall strategic direction of the Metrofile group. I look forward to joining the Metrofile team and being a part of its journey in ensuring sustainable value creation for all its stakeholders. ”
The group announced on Friday that Shivan will be replacing interim CFO Leon Thompson, who had filled in after former CFO Kelebogile Dludla resigned on 8 March without providing a reason.
The statement said that:
“Mansingh has served as the CFO of Torre Industries, which is in the process of delisting from the JSE, since August 2016 and prior to joining Torre, Mansingh worked at Exxaro Resources and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he specialised in group reporting as well as the audits of multinational JSE-listed companies.”
