Summit Series gathers momentum

post-title

CFO South Africa’s debut season of CFO Summits has been a phenomenal success thus far, with the series attracting interest from leading financial executives eager to gain insights from their peers and opinion leaders.

Some of the topics of discussions have been around cloud technology, unlocking value in volatile times, cyber-security and negotiating the acquisition process, with the likes of Oceana CFO Imraan Soomra, reigning CFO of the Year Woolworths' Reeza Isaacs and McDonald's finance chief Zafar Mohamed providing their input. The number of attendees was really encouraging, and the quality of the topics created a platform for very good debate.

Here is some of the feedback we received after the last CFO Summit in Cape Town in March:

Armin Moradi from Oracle: "Thanks for setting up such an amazing event. It was, in my opinion, perfect in terms of execution, venue, turnout, etc. from your side! I am not sure if it can be done much better…"

Rato de Mendonca from Standard Bank: "It was my absolute pleasure to be part of the event, and I do believe that it turned out to be a success."

Standard Bank's Douglas Hutchinson: "It was a very well organised event. Well worth attending. A platform was created for interaction with the top CFOs of Cape Town. Great experience to hear the views and challenges of these rather accomplished chartered accountants."
