Tharisa CFO Michael Jones to retire in July

His departure marks the close of a 14-year chapter that began on 1 May 2012, when he joined the Group as CFO.

Michael Jones will retire as chief finance officer and executive director of Tharisa, effective 31 July 2026, marking the close of a highly successful career in finance.

Michael joined the company as CFO on 1 May 2012 and was appointed to the board on 30 January 2013.

The company has confirmed that the process to identify a suitable successor has begun and it will consider both internal and external candidates. Shareholders will be informed once the appointment of the new CFO has been finalised.

For now, Michael will remain involved during the transition period to assist the group and support a seamless handover of responsibilities.
