US-based TrainerRoad appoints Madelein van Zyl as new CFO

Madelein will be based in TrainerRoad’s new international offices in Stellenbosch.

United States-based company TrainerRoad has appointed South African Madelein van Zyl as its new CFO as it plans to open a new international office in Stellenbosch.

“It is an honour to join TrainerRoad as the new CFO,” Madelein said. “I’m thrilled to bring my international finance and SaaS experience to help TrainerRoad continue to grow and expand into new endeavors and markets.”

Madelein will be based in the company’s new offices in Stellenbosch. “The new office in Stellenbosch will be an incredible asset as TrainerRoad begins to make its way into the hands of both US-based and international athletes,” she says.

She joins TrainerRoad from Lobster Ink, where she served as group financial controller. She has also served with companies including PSG Konsult, HomeChoice, HSBC Bank Bermuda and PwC.

Madelein is also an avid cyclist and triathlete with a passion for maintaining health and happiness through physical activity.
