Pushpender looks forward to contributing to the growth of the country’s mining industry in his new role.

Vedanta Zinc International CFO Pushpender Singla has been appointed as a member of the Minerals Council South Africa board.

“I am pleased and honoured to join the board of the Minerals Council South Africa,” Pushpender said. “I look forward to contributing to the success of the organisation and contributing to further transformation, development and growth of the South African mining industry.”

In a previous interview with CFO South Africa, Pushpender said, “I see South Africa as a fast-developing economy with tremendous opportunities to grow. It has huge mineral potential, best-in-class people skills and a very committed workforce.”

The Minerals Council’s directive is to facilitate interaction among mining companies, like Vedanta, to examine policy issues and other matters of mutual concern to aggregate and define desirable industry standpoints.
