Accentuate appoints new acting CFO Wisdom Mushohwe

Wisdom's appointment comes into effect from 28 February, following Desigan Moodley's resignation.

Accentuate has announced the appointment of Wisdom Mushohwe as its new acting CFO with effect from 28 February. 

Wisdom’s appointment follows the resignation of group financial manager Desigan Moodley who was acting as CFO after former CFO Maarten Coetzee’s contract was terminated in December 2019.

Wisdom, a qualified chartered accountant and certified public accountant, joined the Accentuate Group in 2018 as financial director of Floorworx Africa, the biggest subsidiary in the group. 

Prior to joining Accentuate, he served as the CFO of King Hintsa FET College for two years. Before this, he briefly served as an associate director at Lunika Inc. He has also briefly served as a senior manager at Rakoma and Associates Inc, and as an accountant at the East London Industrial Development Zone

From 2007 to 2013, Wisdom served in various roles at Deloitte, including audit senior, assistant manager and in its external audit services. During this time he qualified as a chartered accountant from the SAICA, as well as a certified public accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
