CFO Jurgens Myburgh nominated for 2025 CFO Awards

CFO Jurgens Myburgh has joined the group of nominees for the 2025 CFO Awards.

Jurgens’s efforts as the CFO of Mediclinic Group has put him in the running for the annual “Oscars of Finance”.

Jurgens has been group CFO and executive director of Mediclinic Group, a diversified international private healthcare services organisation with divisions in Switzerland, Southern Africa and the UAE, since 1 August 2016. Before this he served as the CFO at Datatec, which he joined from Standard Bank.

He started at Standard Bank in 2001 and was appointed as joint head of mergers and acquisitions in 2009.

The 2025 CFO Awards, which recognises exceptional financial leadership and performance, will take place on 11 November at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton.

Studio 88 group CFO Wiets Wiehahn secures nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards

Wiets Wiehahn, director of finance at the Studio 88 Group, has been nominated for the 2026 CFO Awards. He has held his current position since 2011 and previously worked at RMB Commodities and FirstRand Bank, where he completed his articles and qualified as a chartered accountant.
