Ockert Janse van Rensburg has been nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards for the work he has done as the CFO of Motus Corporation.
At the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its seventh year, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.
After becoming a CA(SA), Ockert did an H.Dip in corporate law. He completed his articles at PwC and spent 12 years at the firm before becoming an audit partner. In 2007, Ockert joined Foodcorp Holdings (now RCL Foods), where he served as CFO for eight years before joining Motus Corporation.
