Discovery Bank has appointed Frank Rizzo as head of internal audit as of January this year.
Frank Rizzo has been appointed as the head of internal audit at Discovery Bank.
Prior to his new role, Frank was the managing executive of digital strategy, innovation and incubation at BCX. Before that he made waves as the technology sector leader for Africa at KPMG, where he worked for over 20 years in various partner and advisory roles.
Frank has made his career in data analytics and has worked with many CFOs over the years and delivered some valuable insights about the technology and data they use. He has likewise shared these insights at many CFO South Africa events, where he was a popular speaker.
These same competences will no doubt be invaluable as he takes on his new role at Discovery Bank, which is slated to launch to the public in March this year. The digital-only bank is being branded as “the world’s first behavioural bank”, delivering rewards-based incentives to encourage behavioural change when it comes to money.
