18 percent revenue increase for Curro

The independent education provider has seen a jump in revenue from R1,051 million to R1,242 million.

Listed independent education provider Curro Holdings has released its results for the first six months of 2018, showing an 18 percent growth in revenue from R1,051 million to R1,242 million.

The group’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) rose 31 percent – to R355 million, up from R255 million. Headline earnings increased by 25 percent,  to R138 million, up from R110 million.

The group said in a statement that the major improvement in the Ebitda margin from 23 percent to 27 percent is because of increased efficiencies and capacity utilisation.
