Acdoco SA appoints Rajiv Maharaj as CFO

Rajiv officially heads up the finance department after serving two years as a fractional CFO.

Acdoco SA has officially appointed Rajiv Maharaj to head up its financial division. Rajiv worked as a fractional CFO for the consumer packaged goods distributor for two years before being formally appointed.

He held a previous position at The CFO Centre, providing interim and part-time CFO services across a range of business sectors.

A seasoned financial executive, Rajiv also served as CFO for Barloworld Caterpillar Construction, Rental, and Energy & Transport (Power) divisions, with responsibility for South Africa, Angola and Malawi, and a non-executive board appointment at the Zimbabwe joint venture.

He is extensively experienced in multi-country operations, complex portfolios, governance, and stakeholder management, holding various prior roles at Barloworld including divisional finance director and group financial manager.

Rajiv’s previous responsibilities included managing the company medical aid and BEE trusts. He is a CA who holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and an Honors degree in Accounting Science from Unisa.
