Former AECOM MD Joe Ndala steps back into CFO role, joins Aurecon

Joe has previously served in various finance roles, as well as being the MD of AECOM.

Aurecon, which is currently undergoing restructuring, has appointed previous AECOM MD and 2018 CFO Awards nominee Joe Ndala as its new CFO. 

Joe served in the role of AECOM MD since 2018. Before that, he served as the company’s CFO of Africa since 2014. From 2012 to 2014 he served as senior financial manager of Arup. In 2006 he became a business partner for AR Process Projects and took on the role of its FD until 2012. He also briefly served as a financial controller at Yokogawa in 2006. 

In 2005, Joe founded Ndala & Associates, which provided accounting, payroll, taxation and advisory services. From 2004 to 2005 he served as the management accountant at Transnet. His career started in 1992 as a financial and projects accountant at Kentz.

He is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a master’s in accounting and finance management from the University of West England.
