The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) has announced the launch of a new online career portal to help accounting and finance professionals find positions and develop their careers, while also providing employers a highly-skilled pool of potential hires.

The Global Career Hub offers a variety of resources and services for applicants and employers throughout the global finance industry. The site is open to all financial professionals, employers and recruiters.

In a statement, AICPA VP of marketing and member experience Tim Mahne said that the accounting profession is changing rapidly as new technologies demand different skills and talents. “We know our members and financial professionals globally are continually seeking to enhance their capabilities and career prospects,” he said. “The Global Career Hub is part of AICPA’s commitment to being a lifelong career partner to our members and financial professionals.”

According to Tim, the hub will provide AICPA members and financial professionals with the resources and tools they need to remain competitive in the job market, and the broad range of financial jobs available will meet the needs of young professionals looking to launch their careers. “It also caters for seasoned professionals looking for their next opportunity.”

The site currently lists more than 17,500 job openings globally, including positions in the UK, Africa, US, Asia and Australia, from all levels of accountants to CFOs. It also features resume and interview coaching products and services, as well as career advice, including how to determine your salary worth or ways to better advocate for themselves in the workplace.

At the same time, the Global Career Hub offers employers and recruitment agencies access to qualified applicants from around the world, as well as the opportunity to showcase their company and brand to attract high calibre talent.
