Sayurie Naidoo will fill the CFO role as Craig Miller transitions to CEO and a new CFO is appointed.

Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) has announced the appointment of an acting CFO, Sayurie Naidoo. She takes over from Craig Miller, who will step into the role of CEO in October.

Sayurie has been with Amplats for over 15 years. She has held various roles with the group, including her current role as financial controller. She also holds directorships and trusteeships at various subsidiary companies and trusts.

Prior to joining Amplats in 2017 as a senior manager of performance reporting, Sayurie worked at Kumba Iron Ore as a senior specialist and principal accountant for corporate development.

After completing her articles at Deloitte, Sayuri joined Anglo American as a financial accountant in 2010.

The company said in the statement that it is still looking for a candidate to fill the executive FD position.
