Aneshree Naidoo new Webber Wentzel CFO

The former Deloitte Consulting Africa CFO has been appointed as the new Webber Wentzel CFO.

Aneshree Naidoo has been appointed as the CFO of Webber Wentzel. She joins the firm from Deloitte Consulting, where she served as Africa CFO and on their leadership committee for the past five years.

“Webber Wentzel is a leading law practice and I gravitated to the firm’s shared values from first interactions,” Aneshree says. “I am excited to work with best-in-class professionals.”

She explains that she will be supporting the firm’s strategy and leading finance to “tomorrow and beyond. This opportunity will be a culmination of my CFO experience over the past 10 years and I look forward to continued personal and career growth at Webber Wentzel.”

Aneshree says that she’s enjoyed her time at Deloitte Consulting. Her highlights include defining the Consulting Africa geographic footprint and steering profitable growth for the portfolio with her team. “She also created leadership capacity within her finance team and successfully implemented S4Hana across Africa Consulting in 2019.

“My finance team is recognised by the entire business as true business partners and our leaders have high regard for our steer. I am proud of achieving this outcome,” she says. “I will certainly miss our people the most, from some of the smartest and inspiring leaders I’ve ever worked with to our passionate teams working hard for our clients and each other.”

She has served as an executive board member at Alexander Forbes and Accenture companies, as well as the finance VP at T-Systems before joining Deloitte.

She has a BCom from the University of Pretoria, served her articles to become a CA at EY, and is a member of the international Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
