Elvin de Kock has been appointed CFO of Ansys, replacing Burt Lambrecht

De Kock will take over as CFO of the South African company from 8 January 2018, replacing Burt Lambrecht, who served in this position for the previous two years.

The company told investors that Elvin's appointment as CFO was "in line with the company’s growth strategy, where his experience would support the additional skill sets required on a group level.”

De Kock, currently a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and an associate of Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries, began his career as the FM for Reuters in Africa, in 1986. Since then he has served on the boards of several companies, in various positions, including the Board of organisations like Fujitsu Services, ICL SA, Motorola SA and also served as Chairman for ICL Africa Subsidiaries from 2001 to 2003.
