Anushuya has been appointed as the new group CFO for financial services firm, PPS.
PPS has announced the appointment of Anushuya Gounden as its new group CFO.
According to Anushuya, her leadership philosophy includes a belief in incremental improvement and innovation, a questioning approach, encouraging a diversity of thought, and group problem-solving.
PPS said in a statement that it is this leadership style that makes her perfect for the new role.
Anushuya is a qualified CA(SA), with 22 years of experience across the financial services, professional services, and mining industries. She also has significant exposure to global markets.
She joins PPS from WesBank , where she’s been the CFO since 2018. Before that, she was the group CFO of DirectAxis, and the executive director of finance at Barloworld Equipment respectively.
She has a BCom cum laude focused in accounting from the University of Pretoria, and recently completed a fintech course through the University of Oxford, Said Business School.
