Astral Foods CFO Dries Ferreira to step down

Astral Foods has announced that its CFO, Dries Ferreira, will step down from his role at the end of January 2026 to take up a new opportunity in the industrial sector.

Astral Foods has announced the resignation of its CFO and executive director, Johan Andries Ignatius (Dries) Ferreira, effective 31 January 2026. Dries has accepted a new opportunity within the industrial sector.

In a statement issued by the group, Astral Foods expressed its appreciation for Dries’s dedicated service and the significant role he has played in strengthening the company’s financial position.

During his tenure, he has overseen several key financial initiatives that supported Astral’s growth and resilience amid challenging market conditions.

The group has confirmed that a formal process to identify and appoint a suitable successor to the CFO position will commence shortly.
