Berrangé takes over from previous CFO Jonathan Knowlden, who has been appointed as CEO.
Bauba Resources has appointed Berrangé Nelson as its new financial director.
This follows the promotion of previous CFO Jonathan Knowlden, who has been serving as acting CFO, to the company’s sole CEO.
Berrangé holds a BCom honours degree in financial management and an advanced diploma in management accounting. He started his career as a financial accountant at Igenda Financial Management in 2009 and moved into mining in 2011 when he joined Impala Platinum as a cost accountant.
He has held multiple roles at Gold One International, including management accountant, assistant manager of finance, and most recently head of finance. He also served as the strategic planning specialist at ERG Africa for just over a year.
As a result, Berrangé has extensive experience in the mining sector focused on financial process improvements and optimising operational finance requirements.
