Buffalo Coal appoints Emma Oosthuizen as CEO

Emma has been serving as interim CEO after having served as CFO of the company.

Buffalo Coal has announced the appointment of interim CEO Emma Oosthuizen, as its new permanent CEO. 

Emma had been serving as interim CEO since 11 February 2019 following the resignation of the previous CEO Rowan Karstel.

She joined Buffalo Coal in March 2017 as vice president of finance and was subsequently appointed as CFO on 15 October 2018. 

The company said in a statement that it is confident that Buffalo Coal, under the leadership of Emma along with its recently appointed CFO Willie Bezuidenhout, and the existing management team, will continue to focus on executing the company’s strategy.
