Calgro M3 Holdings executive director Derek Steyn to retire

Derek has resigned as executive director of Calgro M3 and will be taking early retirement.

Calgro M3 Holdings has announced the resignation of Frederick (“Derek”) Johannes Steyn as executive director. He will be taking early retirement with effect from 30 June. 

A statement released by the company read that Derek is one of the founding members of Calgro M3, has served the Company “with dedication and distinction for the past 24 years and his contribution to the success and continued growth of the company has been immense.”

Derek has agreed to stay on as a consultant and advisor of Calgro M3   will remain responsible for identifying new projects for the Residential Property Developments segment of the business. He will also provide strategic advice and input in this area. 

In the statement, the company said:

“We are delighted to be retaining Derek’s experience, know-how and expertise on this basis, and which has provided management with great comfort.” 

The board thanked Derek for his valued commitment and contribution during his tenure as executive director and look forward to his ongoing support and input in future.
