Alan is one of two South Africans that have been appointed to the company.
Canadian-based Cyntar Ventures has appointed South African Alan Rootenberg as its new CFO. He will be taking over from Sonny Chew.
Rootenberg is a qualified chartered professional accountant (CPA) who has served as the CFO of a number of publicly-traded companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), the Over The Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) and the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE).
He has worked for companies like, Eco Oil & Gas, Osino Resources Corporation, Nearctic Nickel Mines, Cronos Group, Talware Networx, Ungava Mines, Byron Americor, Empower Clinics, Adira Energy, Volta Resouces and Auryx Gold Corp.
He has a B.Com degree from the University of Witwatersrand and received his CPA designation in Ontario, Canada.
Along with Rootenberg’s appointment, Cyntar has also announced the appointment of South African Gadi Levin to its board of directors.
